After the phenomenal success of the sell out The
Music of Queen Rocked Up and Classical show, and due to public
demand, Flash Harry and the Ulster Orchestra, will be performing
again at the Odyssey Arena this January.
The band have played the music of Queen to audiences from Belfast
to Atlantic City and Dublin to Dubai and in many of the UK and
Irelands most prestigious venues including Belfast's Grand
Opera House and Waterfront Hall, Dublin's The Point Depot, and
London's Royal Albert Hall will once again perform all of
Queens greatest hits in the Odyssey Arena.
Band members, John 'Click' Cleland (bass guitar), Stevie
Shanks (drums), Stevie Boyd (lead guitar), Stevie Prosser
(keyboards) and the 'Freddiesque' Harry Hamilton are
planning on a show bigger and better than this years show, with new
arrangements, new songs and new ideas.
Dr Frank Lyons, Senior Lecturer in Music at the University of
Ulster, Magee Campus has written all of the arrangements for the
classical pieces for the 64 piece Ulster Orchestra, the 40 piece
University of Ulster Magee Campus Choir and the rock band Flash
Harry.
Conductor Shaun Ryan once again will bring all of these elements
together, in what will be, yet again an amazing interpretation of
the music of Queen and a show definitely not to be missed.
