Philadelphia based facility management company, SMG, was founded in
1977 with the management of their first facility, the Louisiana
Superdome. They soon grew to manage convention centres, exhibition
halls and trade centres, arenas, stadiums, performing arts centres,
theatres, and specific-use venues such as equestrian centres. Today
156 facilities operate under SMG's banner world wide.
SMG Europe is the largest operator of sports and entertainment venues in the United Kingdom and Europe, controlling 75,000 seats in eight facilities.
