American gospel legends the Gaither Vocal Band have confirmed a Belfast date as part of their UK Homecoming tour.

The Gaither Homecoming concert series is a worldwide phenomenon. In 2004 the tour out-sold over 530,000 tickets, out-selling Elton John, Rod Stewart and Fleetwood Mac!

The Grammy Award winning group consists of Bill Gaither, David Phelps, Michael English, Wes Hampton and Mark Lowry. An exceptionally prolific composer of contemporary gospel songs, Bill Gaither has published more than 600 compositions in a 40-year career, including several that have become Christian music staples: Because He Lives, The King is Coming, Something Beautiful and He Touched Me, which he wrote for Elvis Presley.

Joining the Gaither Vocal Band on stage at Odyssey Arena will be a host of famous gospel performers including Gloria Gaither, Ernie Haase & Signature Sound, Buddy Greene, Janet Paschal, Lynda Randle, Gordon Mote, Kevin Williams and Greg Ritchie.
